This is one of the most common debates on construction sites! While the general rule of thumb is around 4 wheelbarrows of sand per bag of cement for a standard block mix, the quality of the sand matters just as much as the quantity. If the sharp sand has too much silt or clay content, even a rich 3-wheelbarrow mix won’t give you strong blocks. Controlling the water-cement ratio and properly curing the blocks for at least 7 days is just as critical as getting the sand-to-cement ratio right. Thanks for sharing this practical guide!
